Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites using
Liquid
, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
Build and modify
Shopify themes
and
sections
for custom UI/UX implementations.
Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance store functionality.
Optimize site performance, speed, and SEO according to Shopify standards.
Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional online stores.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores and integrations.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Manage data migrations, including product, customer, and order data.
Stay updated with Shopify platform updates, Liquid language improvements, and best development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4–7 years
of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
Proficiency in
Liquid
,
HTML5
,
CSS3
,
JavaScript (ES6+)
, and
jQuery
.
Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, metafields, and app integrations.
Experience with
Shopify Plus
,
custom theme development
, and
headless Shopify (optional)
.
Familiarity with version control systems such as
Git
.
Good understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and responsive design.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with
React.js

Next.js
, or other front-end frameworks.
Knowledge of
GraphQL
and Shopify Hydrogen.
Understanding of e-commerce analytics and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Adobe XD
