We are seeking a skilled Senior Process Designer with expertise in PFD, P&ID Drafting in oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SPID and AutoCAD, along with strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, piping materials.Role and Responsibilities

P&ID Development & Management:

• Create, update, and maintain **Smart P&IDs (SPID)**.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity within the P&ID database.
• Perform quality checks on P&IDs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
• Convert legacy paper P&IDs or basic CAD drafts into intelligent SPID formats.

Drafting & Documentation:

• Develop **Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)** and **Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)**.
• Generate and maintain project drawing registers and line lists.
• Support the creation of **tie-in lists, instrument lists, and equipment lists** from the SPID data.
• Produce clean, accurate, and well-annotated technical drawings in AutoCAD.

Coordination & Support:

• Work closely with process engineers to translate process requirements into detailed P&IDs.
• Liaise with the 3D design team to ensure P&ID information is accurately reflected in the 3D model.
• Assist in resolving design conflicts and issuing updated drawings.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical/Chemical/Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum **3 to 10 years** of direct experience in developing P&IDs for oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industrial projects.

Technical Expertise

• Essential:** Proficiency in **SPID software** and **AutoCAD**.
• Strong understanding of **P&ID symbology, tagging conventions, and drawing standards**.
• Familiarity with key industry standards such as **ASME B31.3, and API standards** relevant to process design.
• Basic knowledge of the **EPC workflow** and the plant design lifecycle.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
