About the Role

SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and services on

  SAP BTP Cloud Foundry

  .
• Build and optimize Portal applications with a strong focus on performance, security, and usability.
  
• Configure and manage

  Cloud Foundry subaccounts

  , organizations, spaces, destinations, and deployment pipelines.
• Implement

  authentication & authorization

  concepts using IAS (SAML/OAuth), Customer Data Cloud (CDC), and BTP security services.
• Develop and integrate applications using

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  , Node.js, AngularJS, and relevant NPM modules.
• Design and consume

  OData and REST services

  ; integrate with SAP backend and cloud services.
• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
  
• Work with event-driven architectures and messaging services on BTP.
  
• Utilize version control (GIT) for collaboration and CI/CD alignment.
  
• Optionally contribute to Java (Spring) services and SCIM API-based integrations.

Development Skills

• JavaScript / TypeScript (NodeJS, AngularJS)
  
• Optional: NX and additional NPM ecosystem modules
  
• HTML, (S)CSS, XML, XSLT, YAML
  
• OData and REST service development and consumption
  
• Optional: Basic knowledge of

  ABAP RAP

• Understanding of common system integration patterns
  
• Experience with event/messaging services
