Designation : Melting supervisor. Qualification BSC/DME/ITI with 5-8 years experience in melting dept in foundry. Technical Skill: Basic Metallurgy knowledge Power factor Melting process 5 s, safety, IATF Melting paramete Soft Skill : 1. Supervisory skill 2. Problem solving skill 3. Decision making skill 4. Labour handling Reporting to : Melting Incharge No of Reportee : 14 JD: Responsibility : To allocate required man power as per furnace wise and to handle man power issue To make arrangement required raw material and alloys as per production planning work instruction to be followed when furnaces are continues running for production Cold start work instruction to be followed To weight Raw material as per Charge /Grade and add as per sequence Add required alloys as per the Grade To check base coin for spectro analysis To Check CE every Heat As per spectro analysis Report add required alloys as per calculation To maintain and update log sheet report Heat wise To take Chill as per set frequency To check tapping temperature part wise as per work instruction. To check treatment coin spectra report. To maintain housekeeping ,safety at melting area. After lining every heats to be count for next lining & update document. Accountability: To ensure power control is used of each furnace (reduce power consumption) Ensure pouring temperature maintained (part wise) as per work instruction. Ensure as per plan daily no of heat achievement . To ensure lining material availability & lining should be ready.
