Job Description

Please find below the JD:-

Job Title: Manual QA

Location: Remote

Job Type: 6 months CTH

Years of experience: 5 to 8 years

Shift Timings: 2pm to 11pm IST

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
Perform thorough API testing using Postman to ensure seamless integrations and data flow.
Leverage Swagger for API documentation and validation to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Conduct accessibility testing to ensure applications are compliant with accessibility standards.
Perform database testing using MySQL to validate data integrity and performance.
Collaborate with development teams to identify, log, and track defects in JIRA.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
Provide detailed reports and documentation for testing processes and results.
Continuously improve testing processes, ensuring effective use of tools and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in test planning, test case design, and execution.
Strong knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking and project management.
Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
Familiarity with Swagger for API documentation and testing.
Experience in conducting accessibility testing for web applications.
Strong database testing experience with MySQL.
Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment.
