Position: Electrical Design Engineer Department: R&D /Electrical Design Location: Gandhinagar Job Role & Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems and control panels for laser-based manufacturing machines. Create and interpret electrical schematics and collaborate with mechanical designers using SolidWorks . Select and specify electrical components such as sensors, relays, PLCs, drives, and circuit breakers. Collaborate with mechanical, design, and production teams to ensure seamless machine integration. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations (CE, UL, ISO). Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and wiring documentation for production. Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting during development and pre-dispatch. Coordinate with vendors and procurement for component selection and cost optimization. Assist in creating electrical documentation and user manuals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in machine manufacturing. Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and control systems. Hands-on experience in interpreting and preparing electrical layouts and working with SolidWorks for design collaboration. Good understanding of safety circuits, panel design, and wiring practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
