Role:  Automation QA Engineer

Location: Chennai

Job Type: 6 months with possibility of extension or direct hire depending upon performance

Shift Hours: 10 am to 7 pm IST

Description: We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team in

supporting a global client in the infrastructure and storage domain. The role focuses on testing web-

based applications with a strong emphasis on automation using WebDriver (Selenium). Experience

with Windows environments and manual testing capabilities are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using WebDriver.

• Selenium with .NET, C# requirement. Understanding of Hyper-V and/or VMware is

preferred.

• Perform automation testing to define and validate test scenarios.

• Collaborate closely with QA and engineering teams, including daily stand-ups with

the Lead Engineer.

• Ensure high-quality test coverage for web interfaces and infrastructure-related

applications.

• Follow defined testing processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing using WebDriver.

• At least 2 years of .NET-based automation experience is required.

• Solid understanding of automation testing methodologies and test case design.

• Familiarity with Windows environments and web-based application testing.

• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work in a distributed team

setup.

Nice to Have:

• Background in infrastructure software, storage, or backup technologies.
