AEM Lead Developer Key Responsibilities & Skills

Experience Requirements:

Core AEM Skills Required

AEM Development & Architecture:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with
Sling, JCR, and Sightly
Expertise with
Templates, Components, OSGi bundles, AEM Launches, Workflows, Versioning
Experience with
Content as a Service (minimum 2 implementations)
Must have worked on
large content activation
scenarios

AEM Tools & Operations:

Skilled in
AEM Import/Export, Bulk Edit, Bulk Activation
Hands-on experience setting up
Replication Agents, Flush Agents
, and customizing these tools
Good experience working with
AEM DAM
, including solution design & development
Experience installing and configuring
AEM Clusters

Performance & Optimization:

Strong experience handling performance tuning across
Sling, Cache, OAK, TarMK, MongoMK
Expertise with
Dispatcher configuration and optimization
for page performance
Must be familiar with
JMeter
and
Tough Day
for load/performance testing
Ability to define and design
load test scenarios

Integration & Infrastructure:

Experience in integrating
AEM with eCommerce applications
Good understanding of
Apache Web Server
—virtual hosts, headers, error pages, logs, rewrite rules
Experience with
AEM Monitoring Agents
