Supervise loading/unloading, stacking, and movement of goods. 2. Inventory & Stock Control Oversee inventory management systems. Ensure accurate recording, storage, and retrieval of goods. Prevent spoilage, shrinkage, and pilferage. 3. Maintenance & Safety Coordinate routine maintenance of refrigeration units, generators, and facility infrastructure. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Implement pest control, fire safety, and emergency protocols. 4. Staff Supervision & Training Manage workforce, including laborers, supervisors, and technicians. Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training for best practices. 5. Compliance & Documentation Maintain statutory and regulatory compliance (FSSAI, Pollution Board, etc.). Prepare daily, monthly reports for stock, maintenance, power consumption, etc. Ensure timely audits and certifications. 6. Vendor & Client Coordination Coordinate with transporters, packaging vendors, and cold chain logistics partners. Ensure timely dispatch/receipt of goods per client requirements. 7. Cost & Energy Management Monitor electricity and fuel usage to ensure energy efficiency. Control operational costs while maintaining quality service.
