Job Advertisement: Hindi Teacher (Middle & High School)

St. Joan’s School, Salt Lake (Affiliated to CISCE) is seeking a qualified and dynamic Hindi Teacher to join our faculty for Middle and High School (Grades 6-12).

Position: Hindi Teacher

Location: Salt Lake, Kolkata
School Affiliation: CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations)
Grade Levels: Middle & High School (Grades 6-12)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Hindi language and literature for Middle and High School students as per the CISCE curriculum.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans using modern teaching methodologies.
• Prepare students for ICSE and ISC examinations, ensuring syllabus coverage and effective exam strategies.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide individualized support where needed.
• Incorporate technology in teaching, including digital tools for interactive learning.
• Conduct online classes via Google Meet when required.
• Train and mentor students for elocution, debating, and drama competitions in Hindi.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and academically enriching environment.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Hindi with B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a CISCE-affiliated school preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer usage, lesson planning software, and Google Meet for online classes.
• Language Skills: Strong command of both Hindi and English, effective classroom management, and the ability to engage students.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the CISCE curriculum and examination pattern is highly desirable.
