Highway Site Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Highway Site Engineer to join our project team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising road and highway construction works, particularly bituminous works, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities (earthwork, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, etc.).
• Check alignment, camber, gradient, and levels as per drawings.
• Monitor paving, compaction, and hot mix plant operations.
• Ensure material quality and compliance with MoRTH/IRC standards.
• Coordinate with survey team for setting out and leveling.
• Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and maintain site documentation.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Implement safety measures and traffic management at site.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years’ experience in highway/road construction.
• Strong knowledge of bituminous works and road construction processes.
• Familiarity with MoRTH/IRC specifications.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
