Job Description: Higher Secondary Commerce Teacher

Position: Higher Secondary Commerce Teacher
Location: Green Lawns High School, Ahmedabad
Subjects to Teach: Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and related Commerce subjects

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Commerce subjects for Grades 11 and 12, following the prescribed syllabus.
• Prepare students for board examinations by conducting regular assessments and providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain updated knowledge of curriculum standards and teaching methodologies.
• Foster a positive and interactive learning environment to encourage critical thinking and practical application of concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary teaching and participate in school activities and events.
• Maintain records of student performance and communicate progress to parents as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce or related field with B.Ed. qualification (mandatory).
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with Gujarat State Board curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
