Job Description

You will play a crucial role as a Helpdesk Specialist in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Processing laptop replacement queue - Being the first point of contact for Global Service Desk (GSD) support channels - Responding to technical difficulties and training requests related to desktop/laptop hardware and software - Monitoring and actioning ITHELP Jira queues - Software provisioning/deprovisioning within role constraints - Adhering to standard escalation and ticket handling processes - Administering Slack and Google Workspace within role constraints - Imaging and setting up laptops for employees - Ensuring SOPs are followed and processes adhere to company policy - Owning office desk workspaces for peripheral testing and tech readiness - Providing other IT/Helpdesk support as required Qualifications required for this role: - Technical certification or bachelor's degree in IT-related field preferred - Proficient communication and writing skills in a corporate environment - 3-6+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role - Strong understanding of Apple operating systems, software applications, and network systems - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Commitment to exceptional customer service - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment - Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and helpdesk software is a plus This role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering effective technical support, enhancing end-user experiences, and contributing to the success of IT operations.
