Help Desk Engineer L1

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Help Desk Engineer L1 to deliver first-level technical support for our international customers. This position primarily involves remote operations, with a preference for candidates situated in Kollam, Trivandrum, or Kochi. Your responsibilities will include assigning and managing support tickets through a ticketing system, offering initial IT support for various components such as servers, firewalls, desktops, laptops, peripherals, network connections, printers, and Microsoft Office applications. You will also be monitoring the IT infrastructure utilizing RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools and conducting system administration and basic troubleshooting for Windows OS and applications. While Linux server administration and troubleshooting experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. As a Help Desk Engineer L1, you will escalate unresolved issues to next-level support or hardware vendors and undertake other ad-hoc IT support tasks when necessary. To qualify for this role, you should possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Hands-on experience with ticketing tools and remote support software is required, and prior experience in a helpdesk or technical support position would be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. The ideal candidate will be based in Kollam, Trivandrum, or Kochi, self-driven with a customer-focused mindset, and comfortable collaborating with international teams across different time zones.
