| Primary Responsibilities - Supervise heat-treating operations such as hardening, tempering, annealing, and conditioning of metal workpieces- Coordinate team activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules- Estimate and requisition materials needed for heat-treating processes- Inspect equipment and workpieces for compliance with specifications- Train and mentor workers in heat-treating techniques and safety procedures- Resolve grievances and collaborate with other supervisors to maintain smooth operationsSkills & Qualifications- Strong knowledge of heat-treating processes and metal properties- Experience in metallurgy or mechanical engineering- Leadership and team management skills- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process specifications- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards-Knowledge of gas fired furnaces-ISo140001 knowledge-ERP knowledge-Energy conservationWork Environment- Typically employed in manufacturing plants,(forging plant) metalworking facilities, or automotive/aerospace industries- May involve working with high-temperature equipment, industrial furnaces, and precision instruments-Heavy jobs handling(in Hot environment)-Shift working |
