Job Description

As an Application Analyst III at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), your role is crucial in supporting and optimizing health IT systems, especially Epic, to ensure reliable, secure, and effective technology for patient care and operational efficiency. You will bridge technical expertise and user engagement to ensure that systems align with CHA's mission of equitable, patient-centered healthcare. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and optimize existing clinical and business applications, including Epic. - Coordinate and test system upgrades, integrations, and new application deployments. - Serve as a liaison between end-users, IT, and software vendors. - Analyze workflows and recommend improvements to enhance performance and usability. - Collaborate with IT Education to create and deliver user training and support optimization. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting to users. - Partner with Business Analysts to develop and refine reporting tools. - Manage IT projects in collaboration with clinical and operational leaders. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's in Healthcare, Information Systems, or Business Management (or equivalent experience). - Experience: 5-7 years as an Application Analyst or related healthcare IT/clinical systems role. Epic experience is required, certification preferred. - Proven ability to work in complex healthcare settings and cross-functional teams. Core Competencies: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Understanding of EHRs, databases, and healthcare workflows. - Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. - Risk analysis, quality assurance, and attention to detail. - Demonstrated growth in technical and leadership responsibilities. - Experience delivering system improvements and user-focused solutions.
