Health Insurance - Pre Underwriting

Role Overview: You will be working as a full-time Pre Underwriter for Health Insurance in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will involve evaluating initial insurance applications to assess risk and eligibility. This includes tasks such as reviewing information, verifying details, analyzing risk factors, communicating with clients and agents, and collaborating with the underwriting team for efficient application processing. Key Responsibilities: - Review and verify information provided in initial insurance applications - Assess potential risk factors associated with the applications - Communicate with clients and agents as necessary - Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of applications - Contact insured individuals for Underwriting referred proposals to obtain complete medical history using Audio and/or Video tools - Follow up with customers for past medical records and relevant health documents - Maintain end-to-end Turnaround Time (TAT) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical skills and understanding of underwriting principles - Experience in Insurance and Finance domains - Proficiency in English and Hindi languages - Attention to detail and ability to assess risks accurately - Degree in B.Pharm, M.Pharm, PharmD, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc Nursing, or BDS (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
