Health Insurance - Pre Underwriting

As a Health Insurance - Pre Underwriter based in Bangalore, your role involves evaluating initial insurance applications to determine risk and eligibility. Your daily tasks will include: - Reviewing and verifying information provided in applications - Assessing potential risk factors associated with each application - Communicating with clients and agents to gather necessary information - Collaborating with the underwriting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of applications Additionally, you will be required to: - Contact the insured for Underwriting referred proposals to procure complete medical history using Audio and/or Video tools - Follow up with customers for past medical records and/or relevant health documents - Maintain end-to-end TAT/SLAs to ensure timely processing of applications Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong Analytical Skills and understanding of underwriting principles - Experience in Insurance and Finance domains - Proficiency in speaking English and Hindi - Attention to detail and ability to assess risks accurately - Degree in B.Pharm, M.Pharm, PharmD, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc Nursing, or BDS If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them.,
