Job Description

The Health Data Insights Manager plays a crucial role in generating robust insights and supporting the acceleration of high-quality prediction systems within the clinical trial process. By infusing patient-level data science and informatics, particularly focusing on Feasibility utilizing TriNetX and EHR/EMR datasets, you contribute significantly to the Health Data Insights delivery team. Collaborating closely with the Health Data Insights Director and Associate Director, you develop insights and recommendations to ensure effective delivery. Your responsibilities include gaining a deep understanding of the domain and core processes to leverage Data Science and analytics in solving business problems. You will be tasked with gathering and analyzing large datasets to identify key analytical opportunities and communicating data insights with the relevant stakeholders. It is essential to maintain adherence and compliance with Novartis standards and guidelines, ensuring quality control and audit readiness of analytic solutions. As the Health Data Insights Manager, you will also be responsible for recommending and leading major process improvement initiatives, keeping abreast of the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Your role includes direct collaboration with the Health Data Director and Associate Director to expedite clinical insights generation in support of PSP. Key Performance Indicators will revolve around supporting the optimization of protocol design, patient mapping, and matching, contributing to improved trial recruitment. Ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables produced and adherence to Novartis standards are crucial aspects of your performance evaluation. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent experience in relevant fields like Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Medical Informatics, or Computer Science. Additionally, you should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or a Master's degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Epidemiology, or related disciplines. Skills required include familiarity with clinical data coding systems, strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and resourceful research capabilities.
