Head - Visual Merchandising (Textile Division)

Role Overview: As the Head of Visual Merchandising for CMR Family Mall's Textile Division, you will be responsible for enhancing the visual presentation of textile products across all retail outlets. Your strategic vision and creativity will be crucial in developing and implementing innovative visual merchandising strategies to boost sales, improve customer experience, and uphold the brand identity within the textile offerings. Leading a team of visual merchandisers, you will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure impactful in-store presentations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive visual merchandising strategy for the textile division, aligning with brand objectives, marketing campaigns, and sales targets. - Supervise the layout, design, and presentation of merchandise, including window displays, in-store displays, mannequins, signage, and promotional areas. - Keep abreast of visual merchandising trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices within the textile retail sector. - Ensure that visual merchandising efforts align with and enhance the brand image and storytelling for the textile division. - Formulate visual merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility, boost sales, and enrich customer engagement. - Mentor and develop a team of visual merchandisers, establishing performance expectations and conducting training sessions. - Work collaboratively with buying teams, retail operations, and store staff to effectively implement visual merchandising plans. - Manage the annual budget for visual merchandising activities within the textile division, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, or Retail Management. A Master's degree is considered advantageous. - Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in visual merchandising, with a specialization in the textile or apparel retail industry. - Profound knowledge of textile products such as sarees, ethnic wear, western wear, and fabrics. - Proficiency in visual merchandising software and tools.
