Head Technical Engineering Manager

As the Head Technical Engineering Manager at Virbhu India Pvt Ltd in Vadodara (Gujarat), a subsidiary of AK Power Solutions (USA), your primary role will be to lead an engineering team in the development of next-generation power converters for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging and Renewable (Solar and Battery Electric Storage) Markets. You will play a crucial part in driving innovation and developing cutting-edge power electronics technology. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the power electronics engineering team in the development of next-generation power converters. - Guide a team of engineers through product research, architecture, design, and validation phases to deliver high-quality products. - Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and internal development processes. - Manage engineering resource assignments, priorities, and deadlines effectively. - Lead the design and modeling of complex power electronics for power converters. - Create schematics, BOMs, test specifications, and technical documentation. - Supervise PCB Layout and Mechanical designs. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful product introduction and lifecycle maintenance. - Develop and execute a technology acquisition roadmap to support product roadmap. - Work with independent vendors to develop design and testing infrastructure for power conversion devices. - Develop a staffing plan to support high growth market R&D initiatives. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (BSEE); MS or PhD would be a plus. - Strong knowledge of power electronics selection and layout for various switching devices and circuits. - Experience in designing gate drivers for inverters and bridge rectifiers. - Familiarity with multi-level topology designs and optimizing power converter designs. - Proficiency in testing and debugging system problems. - Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation in power electronics circuits. - Excellent mentoring, coaching, and leadership skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with root cause analysis skills. - Effective communication skills in various settings and styles.,
