Head -Quality

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust quality assurance policies and frameworks for Telecom & Battery products.
• Lead end-to-end quality control activities from product design to final delivery and field support.
• Monitor and report on key quality KPIs; drive actions to meet customer satisfaction and zero-defect goals.
• Investigate customer complaints and warranty issues; lead root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, supply chain, and service teams to address systemic quality challenges.
• Represent the organization in customer audits, compliance checks, and quality reviews.
• Define and track performance KPIs of the operations center; ensure alignment with quality objectives.
• Use statistical tools and Six Sigma methodology to define process issues and drive structured improvements.
• Ensure timely internal audits, quality system reviews, and closure of non-conformities.
• Lead onboarding and development of quality team members; ensure competency across plants and lines.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to batteries & power back up solutions and incorporate best practices.
• Evaluate supplier quality performance and conduct audits to ensure input material reliability.
• Implement preventive quality systems for new product introduction (NPI) and line transfer programs.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1620 years of experience in automotive or electrical manufacturing
• Proven leadership in Quality Assurance, especially for electromechanical/power electronic products.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and relevant IEC/IS standards for EV charging.
• Certifications like CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Hands-on experience in customer complaint handling, RCA, supplier quality, and internal audits.
