Job Accountabilities

  • Responsible for setting baselines, scheduling, planning and reporting skills in large scale construction like High raise building, Big Hotels, resorts, Hospitals, commercial buildings and big infrastructure projects.
  • Contract familiarization.
  • Attend kick off /concept meeting.
  • Preparation of site organization chart.
  • Plan the resources according to approved site organization chart.
  • Review and provide input for project construction schedule.
  • Development of site infrastructure requirement & budgeting of cost.
  • Participate in 3-d model review and provide construction related inputs with support from CEN specialist.
  • Plot plan review & finalization of constructability study with support from CEN specialist
  • Coordination/expediting with various engineering disciplines for BOQ input for tendering.
  • Estimation of construction cost, preparation of civil & erection tenders, technical bid analysis and provide technical recommendation for awarding the contract with support from department specialist.
  • Participate in price negotiation with construction contracts for EPC job.
  • Coordinate with it to set up of it tools for construction scope.
  • Ensure set up of site office and develop site infrastructure facilities required as per approved plan.
  • Coordinate with PM and EM and concern engineering disciplines for timely release of construction drawings as per project schedule/site requirement.
  • Coordinate with pm and procurement to ensure availability of project materials delivered at site as per project schedule/site requirement.
  • Review and provide input for construction billing schedule for EPC job.
  • Site pogress review with client/sub-contractor and support site managers in all construction related activities so as to ensure completion of works as per schedule.
  • Checking and processing of contractors bills as per established procedure.
  • Coordinate with PM/procurement/SM for emergency site procurement of construction materials for EPC job.
  • Ensure timely submission and certification of construction bills to client for EPC job.
  • Resolve site queries (technical & contractual) raised by site during execution of the project.
  • Ensure set up system to record all documentary evidences for extra claim/escalation/change orders required during execution of the job
  • Expedite close out of all subcontracts.
  • Expedite handing over of store materials and final reconciliation.
  • Ensure preparation of construction close out report and provide input for project completion report.
  • Finalization of lessons learnt and provides input to engineering.
  • Coordinate with site manager to close the site.
  • Review and monitor construction cost.
  • Provides guiding direction and ultimate oversight of engineering engagements.
  • Sets direction and goals for technology and/or business line.
  • Leads the technology strategy for individual's area of expertise.
  • Reviewing the overall project status with the project management team and recommend corrective action where necessary
  • Lead, guide and train project managers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects
  • Design, implement and refine project management processes, templates, tools across the organization, for the entire project journey from conceptualization to QA and delivery
  • Personally lead at least one key project for the company
  • Monitor schedules, cost, quality, and performance.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external resources for both consultants and the client teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects.
  • Drive daily stand-ups, project planning, reviews/demos, and retrospective meetings.
  • Document client requirements
  • Identify project risks and drive mitigation plans.
  • Foster a productive and collaborative environment, with a growth mindset

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

  • Communication Skill - High
  • Excellent knowledge of coordinating between Cost Time Quality, Give inputs b time to contract admin team.
  • Takes Ownership of producing relevant MIS @ frequent intervals suggested by management
  • Knowledge and experience into contractor billing and rate negotiation
  • Computer Skills [Excel, Word & Power point presentation MS Projects and Primover
  • Technical field skills Capabilities to estimate time and resource requirements
  • Decision making Out of box thinking
  • Fast Track planning in every single stage

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

  • B.E-Civil with 25 years experience in Project planning, Scheduling, coordination, Procurement & contract, architecture and Design and Quality assurance of construction projects.
