Head - Operations - Warehousing & Supply Chain

Role Overview: As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse operations across multiple locations. Your role will involve overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring process standardization, driving efficiency improvements, and implementing best practices in warehouse management. You will also be required to develop strategies for operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, outbound, inventory management, and transportation coordination. - Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, and cost optimization across all warehouses. - Implement best practices in warehouse management and ensure adherence to SOPs. - Ensure seamless coordination between clients, vendors, and internal teams. - Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability. - Plan and execute expansion strategies for warehouse infrastructure and capabilities. - Utilize data analytics and performance metrics for continuous improvement. - Ensure smooth client onboarding and execution of service-level agreements. - Manage relationships with 3PL vendors, transporters, and warehouse service providers. - Address operational challenges with a solution-oriented approach. - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team. - Set performance KPIs, conduct periodic reviews, and ensure accountability. - Foster a culture of ownership, process excellence, and safety compliance. - Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations. - Implement audit mechanisms for stock accuracy, inventory controls, and security. - Drive risk assessment initiatives to mitigate operational disruptions. Qualification Required: - Experience: 8+ years in warehouse operations management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. - Industry Exposure: Prior experience in 3PL operations. - Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Technology & Process Knowledge: Familiarity with WMS, automation, and best practices. - Client Management: Experience handling key accounts and client operations. - Multi-Location Experience: Managed operations across multiple warehouses and geographies. Preferred Qualifications: - Education: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field. - Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.,
