YOUR TASKS
Job Objective
-  Planning Logistics
 -  Direct, manage and optimize all resources connected to the planning processes with the goal to achieve minimal total costs and meet customer requirements within a high complexity plant operation
 -  Direct and control the design of information flows incl. master data and logistics processes related to planning logistics within a high complexity plant operation
 -  Coordinate and balance conflicting interests arising within inventory management, material management, production planning, sales scheduling, and demand planning process with internal / external stakeholders within a high complexity plant operation
 -  Securing the implementation and application of global (logistics) standards (e.g., process)
 -  Drive continuous improvement and collaborate with regional logistics to consistently increase logistics performance
 -  Responsible to control all planning logistics processes, ensuring high efficiency in inventory management, material management, production planning, sales scheduling, and demand planning by using the standardized key performance indicators
 -  Involvement in inter-departmental workgroups and projects for the coordination and optimization of SOP and EOP, carrying out day-to-day tasks related to new products and others
 -  Involvement in logistics agreements with customers & suppliers in cooperation with those responsible
 -  Participation in global strategic projects and facilitate pilot projects
 -  Project Management 
 -  Supervise and execute the management of medium up to high complexity logistics projects from technical and organizational perspective along the supply chain and product lifecycle, incl. rollout and sustainable implementation of corporate standard processes 2. Defining, planning, coordinating, and monitoring of medium up to high complexity projects for the area of responsibility incl. responsible for internal and external personnel capacity planning
 -  Definition and continuous monitoring of project success regarding time, budget, and output quality and driving execution of defined actions
 -  Negotiating general logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers and customers (e.g., JIT/JISprocesses, turnaround periods, packaging)
 -  Aligning all ongoing projects and activities with relevant business processes owners and functions, incl. corporate
 -  Execution of problem solving and escalation for occurring deviations
 -  Support and contribute on overarching activities and initiatives
 -  Preparation of business cases and execution of pilot applications
 -  Leadership 
 -  Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks
 -  Guiding, instructing, and supporting employees in function-related tasks
 -  Participating in hiring process and responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands
 
Your Qualifications
-  Skills required: 
 -  Good knowledge of import parts procurement (electronic/ mechanical parts). 
 -  Handling freight forwarders, CHA & local transportation. 
 -  Inventory management & control. 
 -  Project management. 
 -  Supplier scheduling & management. 
 -  Transportation management. 
 -  Handling complex situations like line shortages, customer escalations. 
 -  Team management (6-10 white collar employees). 
 -  Coordination with purchase, program management, operations & related team. 
 -  Customer order management; sales scheduling. 
 -  Production planning & control. Shop planning & customer order management. 
 -  Good knowledge of SAP (PP, MM & SD modules). 
 -  Coordination with internal factories for material planning & inventory control. 
 -  Experienced in handling global discussions/ data management/ projects. 
 -  Very good communication skills. Educational qualification & Experience: 
 -  B.Tech/ Diploma with 10-12 years of relevant experience. 
 -  Master's with 10-15 years relevant experience.
