Head of Financial Reporting

As the Head of Financial Reporting in the Finance & Accounts department, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and timely submission of financial statements in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Your role will involve ensuring adherence to accounting standards such as IFRS/GAAP and industry-specific financial reporting frameworks. You will oversee internal controls and financial governance to mitigate risks and maintain financial integrity. Collaboration with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies will be essential to ensure compliance with reporting obligations. Your expertise in analyzing financial data will help identify trends, variances, and opportunities for financial improvement. Providing insights and recommendations to senior management regarding financial performance and reporting requirements will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also be involved in developing and enhancing financial reporting processes, systems, and automation tools for efficiency and accuracy. Transparency in financial disclosures, investor reports, and board presentations will be a priority in your role. Additionally, you will lead and mentor the financial reporting team, fostering excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for this position should have a qualification such as CMA/CA/MBA Finance with 3 or more years of experience in Financial Reporting. With a minimum of 10-12 years of experience, you will be based in Bokaro and will be operating at Grade M3/M4.,
