About the Role:

Head of Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

• Define and execute the company's engineering vision and strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Oversee all engineering functions including software development, DevOps, QA, infrastructure, and data engineering.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape technology roadmaps and ensure technology supports business growth and innovation.

Team Management:

• Build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, managers, and technical leads.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Implement best practices in team organization, communication, and performance evaluation.

Technical Excellence:

• Ensure high-quality software delivery through modern engineering practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee architectural decisions, scalability, and system performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

Process & Operations:

• Establish engineering policies, standards, and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams for smooth execution of projects.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for technology functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and engineering leadership roles.
• Proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams (50+ members preferred).
• Strong knowledge of modern technology stacks, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
