Head of Credit Control

As the Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall credit policy, framework, and risk appetite of the organization. You will lead, mentor, and manage the credit team across branches/regions, ensuring effective collaboration with senior management on business strategy. Your role will involve developing risk assessment models and scoring systems aligned with business objectives and overseeing the evaluation of loan/credit proposals to ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements. Monitoring and controlling overall credit risk exposure will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, including setting limits for sectors, industries, and individual borrowers to minimize concentration risk. You will track the performance of the loan/credit portfolio to ensure healthy asset quality and coordinate with business development teams to align credit decisions with growth objectives. Generating MIS reports on portfolio health, sectoral exposures, delinquencies, and risk assessment will also be part of your duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and financial analysis skills, along with in-depth knowledge of credit risk management, lending practices, and compliance requirements.
