Logikality is an AI-first startup that is reimagining how mortgage and financial services operations run. We build AI-native products that turn messy documents and workflows into decision-ready outcomes for lenders and financial institutions.

We are now looking for a hands-on product and engineering leader who can own our AI roadmap end-to-end and grow into the long-term technology leader for the company.

Role overview

This is a senior founding role based in Bangalore. You will be the primary owner of our AI and product stack, from architecture to delivery. You will work directly with the CEO and business leaders, translate client problems into product capabilities, and build working solutions that go into production.

The role starts as an individual contributor. Over time, you will build and lead a world-class AI engineering and product team around you.

What you will own

• Own the end-to-end architecture for our AI products, including data pipelines, model choices, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Design and build AI solutions across LLMs, document intelligence, retrieval augmented generation, and workflow agents that fit real client constraints.
• Translate client problems into product specs, build quick proofs of concept, and harden them into robust production features.
• Work closely with design, sales, and clients to shape the product roadmap and prioritise features that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Establish engineering practices for code quality, security, versioning of models and prompts, and observability.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a small team of engineers and data scientists as we scale.
• Contribute directly as a senior hands-on engineer who can write, review, and ship production code.

What we are looking for

• Experience:

  4 to 10 years of total experience in software and AI engineering

• Education:

  Engineering from a top-tier institute
• Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, experience with modern AI and ML stacks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, RAG architectures
• Proven track record of shipping at least one AI or ML-powered product or platform into production, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments
• Comfort working across backend, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
• Product mindset, you think in terms of user journeys, business value, and measurable outcomes rather than only models and algorithms
• Prior experience in startups, or in building v1 products in an ambiguous environment
• Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate, and

  willing to work primarily from the office

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work directly with CXO-level stakeholders
• Experience in fintech, lending, mortgage, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries is a strong plus, but not mandatory if you learn fast.
