Head Data Innovation & Analytics Platform

You are being hired for the Senior Technical position of Head Data Innovation & Analytics Platform. In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving competitive differentiation by utilizing analytics through a proprietary data and analytics platform. This platform aims to prospect, underwrite, and engage clients across various channels for both consumer and commercial businesses. Reporting to the Head of Analytics, your responsibilities will include driving the data strategy roadmap, articulating the vision for the data and business intelligence platform, and leading the data engineering team to develop cutting-edge tools and capabilities to provide seamless access to data, analytics, and insights for data scientists, product managers, and business teams. Your main expectations in this role will be to define the data strategy roadmap by sourcing credit and alternative data from structured and unstructured sources across digital and offline channels. You will also drive prospect acquisitions through digital self-service and sales force effectiveness capabilities, develop data partnership opportunities across different industries, and define a big data analytics stack/platform. Additionally, you will partner with the tech team to build a scalable analytics and decision execution platform and create a high-performing team of data analysts, engineers, and designers to manage the analytics platform. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in building and implementing end-to-end data and business intelligence platforms, with experience in using big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark. You should have over 12 years of experience in solution consulting, product management, or engineering leadership roles, including at least 6 years of experience leading engineering teams in cloud-based or big data platforms like AWS or Azure. A strong understanding of big data platforms and capabilities, data storage, relational and non-relational database design, and business intelligence tools is essential for this position. Key Skills required for this role include Big Data, Analytics, Hadoop, Spark, Data Engineering, Cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, Data Storage technologies like HBase and MongoDB, RDBMS, Non-SQL database design, and Business Intelligence (BI). The preferred educational qualification for this position is a B.E/B.Tech degree.
