Job Description

As the Brand and Marketing Head at JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), your primary responsibility is to lead the brand and marketing function to achieve the objectives related to Share of Voice, Execution to Plan adherence, SEO, Reputation, Media Relations, and cost and quality of leads and enquiries. Your key accountabilities will include developing and continuously refining a branding strategy to effectively position JKLUs programmes, driving an annual multi-channel, integrated strategic communications plan, and acquiring insights from Enterprise Customers and Individual Learners across priority Industry Verticals to build segment-specific strategies. You will be responsible for using PR and Content Marketing to establish JKLU as the most trusted institution among the target audience of students, parents, and stakeholders. This involves creating a coherent communication, collateral, and content strategy to support admissions, as well as identifying, evaluating, and collaborating with selected agencies and partners to achieve marketing objectives. Managing media relations and developing relationships with key media and influencers to enhance the Share of Voice for JKLU in the higher education space will also be a crucial aspect of your role. Additionally, you will drive the execution of a multi-channel branding and content marketing strategy, encompassing activities such as press releases, events, conferences, articles, blogs, podcasts, and press interviews across traditional and digital platforms. Furthermore, you will be responsible for vendor management, working with nationally reputed Media and Public Relation agencies to execute branding and marketing plans. Your role involves leading and managing these strategic vendors to ensure they deliver as per requirements and within budgets. To qualify for this role, you must have an MBA from a premier institute with specialization in PR/Marketing/Mass-Communications, or a Post Graduate in Mass Communications field. Additionally, you should have at least 8-10 years of experience with exposure to PR and communications roles for a reputed brand, with experience in education and universities being advantageous. Job-specific knowledge and skills required for this role include proficiency in media relations, external communication, branding, social media, and the ability to communicate with impact, manage relationships effectively, and collaborate with leadership.,
