Head - Academics & Training

As the Head of Academics & Training at Makoons Group of Schools, your role involves setting academic standards, ensuring curriculum quality, and promoting a high standard of teaching and learning across all institutions. You will be responsible for developing academic strategies, training educators, and creating an environment conducive to learning excellence and innovative pedagogy. Extensive travel is required to support schools in different locations, ensuring consistency and quality in academic practices. - Develop and execute a strategic academic vision for Makoons Group of Schools, establishing policies and processes to maintain high educational standards. - Lead the implementation of curriculum across Makoons Play School and Makoons World School, ensuring alignment with national and global educational frameworks. - Regularly review and enhance academic programs to keep them current, effective, and engaging. - Design and lead comprehensive training programs to enhance the teaching competencies of Makoons educators. - Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions focusing on innovative teaching methodologies, classroom management, and student engagement. - Mentor and support academic staff to drive professional growth and create a culture of continuous learning. - Establish and maintain assessment standards, analyze student performance data, and make curriculum adjustments to improve teaching practices. - Conduct site visits to observe teaching methods, provide feedback, and support teachers in implementing best practices. - Collaborate with school principals, teachers, and regional coordinators to address academic challenges and optimize instructional practices. - Engage with parents to provide insights into academic programs and student progress, building strong relationships with the school community. - Travel extensively to Makoons locations across India to provide hands-on guidance and support for academic initiatives and educator training. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and educator training. - Strong background in early childhood and K-12 education with a proven record of academic excellence and innovation. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to inspire and manage a diverse academic team. - Proficiency in contemporary educational technologies and methodologies with a commitment to promoting student-centered learning. - Willingness to travel frequently and engage with Makoons centers across various regions.,
