Hardware Testing Engineer

You will be joining Janitri, a Med-tech company specializing in developing IoT-based smart pregnancy and newborn monitoring devices. The company has been recognized for its life-saving innovations and recently featured on Shark Tank. As a Hardware Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Performing functional, performance, and reliability testing on hardware components and systems. - Conducting detailed hardware analysis to ensure products meet design specifications and industry standards. - Developing and executing test plans and test cases for new and existing products. - Working closely with design and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues. - Using testing tools and instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc., to detect faults and validate component performance. - Documenting all test procedures, results, and encountered issues during testing. - Providing detailed test reports with recommendations for design improvements or fixes. - Maintaining testing logs and ensuring data accuracy for all conducted tests. - Ensuring that all testing is performed following industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company protocols. - Proposing enhancements to testing processes and methodologies to improve product quality and reduce testing time. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. - Minimum 1 year of experience in hardware testing, validation, or related areas. Skills required: - Strong knowledge of hardware testing methodologies and tools. - Familiarity with test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and signal generators. - Proficiency in documenting test results and preparing reports. - Keen attention to detail for defect identification and ensuring product compliance. - Good verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
