Hardware Tester

As a Sr Device Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of software related to computer peripherals or components such as keyboards, mice, webcams, gaming hardware, smart devices like Alexa, and Kindle. Your responsibilities will involve incorporating consistency, efficiency, and re-usability of test components/scripts in your design, creating Test Plans and Test cases using JIRA/ZEPHYR, executing Front-End, regression, API, exploratory, and end-to-end workflow tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Incorporate consistency, efficiency, and re-usability of test components/scripts in your design - Create Test Plans and Test cases using JIRA/ZEPHYR - Execute Front-End tests, regression tests, API tests, exploratory tests, end-to-end workflow tests, performance and reliability tests - Collaborate with Product owners, customer support, architects, software and firmware engineers - Interact and work directly with SW Development, FW Development, Program Management - Drive CI/CD from the testing perspective - Define, develop, and enforce automation testing standards and best practices - Periodically report testing and automation impact, value, and improvement to stakeholders Qualifications: - A minimum of 5+ years of experience in SW QA Role Required Skills: - Technical skills in functional testing, End to End testing, and Performance testing - Experience with JIRA/ZEPHYR for Test Plans and Test cases - Ability to execute various types of tests including Front-End, regression, API, exploratory, and performance tests Preferred Skills: - Experience in CI/CD processes - Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams,
