Core Responsibilities Driving thermal modeling, CFD analysis, and heat transfer simulations for actuators, electronics, battery systems, and complete robot assembly Designing and optimizing thermal management solutions (fins, heat sinks, cooling channels, thermal interfaces, ventilation systems) for high-power density components Thermal testing and validation protocols to characterize heat generation, dissipation, and temperature distribution across operating conditions at different locations in the robot Collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate thermal solutions without compromising robot performance, weight, ease of assembly and maintenance, or cost targets

Hard Skills
Thermal analysis and CFD simulation experience with expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics fundamentals Thermal management design for high-power electronics, motors, and battery systems in mobile applications Materials science understanding for thermal properties, thermal interface materials, and heat dissipation solutions Experimental thermal characterization using thermal cameras, thermocouples, heat flux sensors, and environmental testing chambers
