Hardware Design Engineer

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. This includes working on circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems to launch cutting-edge, world-class products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to develop solutions that meet performance requirements. To be considered for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, having a Master's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in circuit design, schematic capture, circuit simulation software, and hardware design and measurement instruments is preferred. As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, your responsibilities will include applying hardware knowledge to assist in planning, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. You will also provide support for integrating features and functionality into hardware designs, conduct simulations and analyses, collaborate with team members to implement new requirements, evaluate manufacturing solutions, assess reliability, and write technical documentation for hardware projects. In this role, you will work under supervision, and your decision-making will impact your direct area of work and/or work group. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey information accurately. You will need to perform tasks that require multiple steps, planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to complete them effectively.
