GW Portal Developer

As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Your role will involve designing, coding, and testing software solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of insurance organizations. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in at least one of the Guidewire Digital Portals (Customer Engage/ ProducerEngage/ ServiceRepEngage/ Vendor Engage/ Enterprise Engage) - Strong knowledge in Guidewire Portal Skills: ReactJS, Jutro Framework, AngularJS, Guidewire Integration with EDGE Framework - Hands-on experience in at least one of the Guidewire products (ClaimCenter/ PolicyCenter/ BillingCenter) - Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model) - Good knowledge in Web services, XML, and ant script - Experience in any database Oracle / SQL Server and proficiency in SQL - Exposure to SCM tools such as GIT, TFS, SVN, etc - Good knowledge of any servers / containers such as Tomcat / JBoss / Websphere - Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Excellent analytical skills - Experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology - Insurance domain knowledge - Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns - Must have estimation, team leading, code review, and mentoring skills - At least two Guidewire implementations - Good estimation skills - Good to have skills: MuleSoft, Spring / Hibernate Qualifications Required: - Apply a learning mindset and take ownership for your own development - Appreciate diverse perspectives, needs, and feelings of others - Adopt habits to sustain high performance and develop your potential - Actively listen, ask questions to check understanding, and clearly express ideas - Seek, reflect, act on, and give feedback - Gather information from a range of sources to analyze facts and discern patterns - Commit to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness - Learn and apply professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), uphold the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements,
