Guidewire Smart COMM Developer

Role Overview: As a Guidewire Smart COMM Developer at LTIMindtree, your main responsibility will be to create and maintain document generation and customer communication solutions for the insurance industry. This role will involve integrating Smart Communications with Guidewire's Insurance Suite applications and other systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop templates, layouts, and style sets for multi-channel communications, such as print (PDF, Postscript, PCL), email, and web. - Collaborate with business analysts to convert business requirements into technical solutions within the Smart COMM platform. - Integrate Smart COMM with Guidewire applications and other enterprise systems using web services (REST/SOAP) and APIs. - Develop and manage data models by defining XML data schemas and mapping them to business objects. - Conduct unit testing and provide support for quality assurance (QA) during system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Identify and resolve issues related to Smart COMM templates, data, and configurations. - Create technical documentation for development, testing, and deployment processes. - Engage in agile and scrum methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery. - Optimize document generation performance and adhere to best practices. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience as a Guidewire Smart COMM Developer or similar role in the insurance industry. - Strong knowledge of Smart Communications (formerly Thunderhead) and its integration with Guidewire applications. - Proficiency in web services (REST/SOAP) and APIs for system integration. - Ability to design data models, define XML data schemas, and map them to business objects. - Experience with unit testing, quality assurance (QA), and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes. - Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging issues related to Smart COMM templates, data, and configurations. - Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies for project delivery. - Excellent documentation skills for technical processes. - Understanding of document generation performance optimization and best practices.
