Role Overview: As a Technical Lead in the Technology Consulting team at EY, you will have the opportunity to work on various Guidewire implementation projects for global customers. Your role will involve leading technical streams of projects, communicating with onsite coordinators, monitoring project deliverables, mentoring the project team, providing regular status reports, and interacting with customer representatives. Additionally, you should be willing to travel to customer locations as required. Your responsibilities will include building a quality culture, managing performance for direct reports, fostering teamwork, providing training and mentoring, and participating in people initiatives at an organization-wide level. Key Responsibilities: - Work as a team leader to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects - Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators - Plan and monitor project deliverables - Mentor the project team - Provide regular status reports to the Manager and onsite coordinators - Interface with customer representatives as needed - Manage performance for direct reports - Foster teamwork and lead by example - Provide training and mentoring to project resources - Participate in organization-wide people initiatives Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech/MCA with 3 to 7 years of industry experience - Proficiency in Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT - Strong skills in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic - Real-time experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Understanding and experience of software development best practices - Excellent business communication and leadership skills - Experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration - Experience in the Insurance domain, particularly in Property & Casualty - Prior client-facing experience Additional Company Details: EY, known for building a better working world, aims to create long-term value for clients, people, and society while fostering trust in capital markets.
