About the Role

Guidewire Billing Center Developer

You will be responsible for configuration, integration, customization, and performance optimization of Guidewire Billing Center, while ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration & Integration

• Develop and configure Guidewire Billing Center applications to meet business requirements.
  
• Customize and extend the Billing Center data model and business rules using Gosu and PCF.
  
• Develop and maintain custom plugins, and support integrations with Policy, Claims, Finance, and external systems via SOAP/REST web services.
  

• Development

• Write and maintain code using Gosu, Java, and related technologies.
  
• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and customization of Billing Center modules.
  

• Testing & Quality

• Perform unit testing, support QA/UAT testing, and ensure defect-free delivery.
  
• Support code reviews, performance tuning, and quality assurance processes.
  

• Troubleshooting & Support

• Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues across the billing lifecycle.
  
• Provide production support for Billing Center implementations.
  

• Documentation & Reporting

• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and integrations.
  
• Support document generation and workflow management.
  

• Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and QA teams to deliver solutions.
  
• Take ownership of functional modules, including:
  
• Invoicing & delinquency management
  
• Payments, Payment Requests, & Disbursements
  
• Billing Instructions & Commission processing
  
• Trouble Tickets (setup, workflows, resolution tracking)
  
• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Guidewire Billing Center

  .
• Proficiency in

  Gosu, Java, PCF, and web services (SOAP/REST)

  .
• Experience developing integrations with Policy, Claims, Finance, and external systems.
  
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Experience working in

  Agile environments

  using tools like Jira or Rally.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire Billing Center Certification

  (BillingCenter Specialist / BC ACE preferred).
• Knowledge of

  Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain

  .
• Prior experience in end-to-end Billing Center implementations.
