GST Compliance Assitant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GST Compliance Executive to join our team. The role involves assisting in the preparation, filing, and reconciliation of GST returns for various clients. The ideal candidate should possess basic knowledge of GST laws, good command over Excel, and a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.

This position is ideal for commerce graduates or freshers looking to build a career in taxation, compliance, and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) within statutory deadlines.
• Reconciliation of purchase, sales, and input tax credit data with books of accounts and GST portal.
• Coordinating with clients for required data and clarifications.
• Verifying invoices, tax rates, and HSN codes to ensure correct reporting.
• Maintaining proper records of all returns, workings, and challans.
• Supporting senior staff in GST audits, notices, and other statutory compliances.
• Handling data entry and report generation using Excel and GST utilities.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of GST Act and return filing procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data validation, formulas, sorting, pivot tables preferred).
• Good understanding of accounting entries related to GST.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical ability.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Qualification:

• B.Com / equivalent commerce background.

Experience:

• 0 to 1 year experience in GST or accounting-related work preferred.
• Freshers with good knowledge and learning attitude are encouraged to apply.
