Job Description

Role Overview

As YouTube Growth Manager, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of our YouTube channelturning video IP into a compounding acquisition engine. Youll craft data-driven content roadmaps, optimise thumbnails and titles for click-through and retention, and translate audience insights into revenue-generating growth loops.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Production

  • Build and maintain a 12-month content calendar mapped to keyword clusters, trend spikes, and funnel gaps.
  • Script and oversee production of long-form videos, Shorts, and Community posts that maximise hook strength and retention curves.
  • Run a rapid thumbnail-title A/B testing program (?3 variants per release) and iterate within 48 h based on CTR data

Channel Growth & Optimisation

  • Scale views and subscribers through SEO, playlist architecture, end-screen loops, and strategic collabs.
  • Implement growth loopsShorts ? long-form ? siteto deliver high-intent traffic and track view-to-site CVR.
  • Partner with paid marketing to boost breakout videos and feed retargeting pools while maintaining CAC targets

Analytics & Performance Management

  • Own KPIs: CTA click-through, CTR, AVD, SVL, subscriber conversion, RPM, and YouTube-sourced revenue.
  • Build live dashboards (GA4, Looker, YouTube Studio) and run weekly war-room reviewskill or double-down fast.
  • Set and hit milestones: 10 views, 5 subs, ?40 % 90-day retention, and ?15 % new-user revenue share within 12 months.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Manage in-house editors and motion designersenforce 24 h storyboard and 48 h edit SLAs
  • Secure at least one high-impact creator collaboration per month to expand reach and credibility
  • Liaise with Creative, Performance, and Community teams to repurpose assets and ensure brand voice consistency

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years scaling YouTube channels from sub-50 k to 500 k+ subscribers in D2C or consumer tech
  • Mastery of YouTube Studio analytics, Tubebuddy/VidIQ, GA4 attribution, and thumbnail psychology.
  • Strong storytelling instincts plus data-driven decision-making; comfort with CPM, RPM, CAC,LTV.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills; thrives on high-velocity execution.
