Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, Layer 2 & Layer 3 switches, and firewalls (with a focus on Sophos firewalls). Handle network cabling (Cat 6) and fiber optics installation and troubleshooting. Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime. Implement and monitor network security protocols to safeguard systems against threats. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes. Collaborate with IT and support teams for network-related requirements and projects. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Education: Degree or 3-year Diploma in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science. Certification: A valid and globally recognized CCNA certification is mandatory. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls). Experience with Cat 6 cabling and fiber optic networks. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of Sophos firewall systems is highly preferred.
