Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Loading and Unloading of Boxes

Safely handle movement of cartons from delivery vehicles to storage areas and vice versa.
Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent damage to goods and ensure personal safety.

Racking of Books

Arrange books systematically on designated racks as per class, subject, category, or publisher.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and easy accessibility for smooth stock management.

Preparation of Book Sets as per School Orders

Read school-wise requirement lists carefully.
Pick correct titles, verify quantities, and prepare complete sets with high accuracy.
Ensure zero errors in packing and labeling.

Support in School Counter Distribution (Temporary)

Assist in book distribution at various school counters during peak seasons.
Interact politely with parents and students, issue books correctly, and maintain queue discipline.
Follow specific guidelines provided by each school.

Stock Retrieval and Dispatch

Take out required stock from racks/storage based on daily orders.
Pack, label, and dispatch goods on time to schools, counters, or clients.
Maintain proper record-keeping and ensure accuracy in dispatch documents.

General Warehouse Upkeep

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the warehouse area.
Report low stock, damaged stock, or discrepancies immediately to supervisors.

Team Coordination

Work closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to complete daily tasks efficiently.
Support additional tasks related to stock handling as instructed.
