Role & responsibilities

Role: Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

  1. Design Creation:

    Develop visually appealing graphics, layouts, and illustrations for digital and print media, including social media posts, brochures, flyers, advertisements, and packaging.
  2. Brand Consistency:

    Maintain consistency in design, color schemes, typography, and visual tone according to brand guidelines.
  3. Concept Development:

    Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to understand project requirements and translate ideas into effective visual concepts.
  4. Software Proficiency:

    Use design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW, or Canva to produce high-quality designs.
  5. Content Adaptation:

    Resize and adapt creatives for multiple platforms like social media, websites, email campaigns, and print materials.
  6. Creative Input:

    Contribute innovative ideas to enhance marketing campaigns and overall brand visuals.
  7. Project Management:

    Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ensure quality output.
  8. Communication:

    Present design drafts for feedback, incorporate revisions, and ensure client or management satisfaction.
  9. File Management:

    Prepare and deliver final artwork files in proper formats for web or print production.
  10. Staying Updated:

    Keep up with current design trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve creative output.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    1–3 years of relevant experience in graphic design (freshers with a strong portfolio may also be considered).
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or CorelDRAW.
    • Basic knowledge of Canva, Figma, or other design tools is an added advantage.
    • Understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles.
    • Knowledge of digital marketing creatives, social media design, and print production.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong creativity and attention to detail.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Openness to feedback and willingness to learn new techniques.
  • Additional Preferences:

    • Experience in video editing or motion graphics (using Premiere Pro or After Effects) is a plus.
    • Basic understanding of branding and marketing strategies.
