Graphic Designer Intern

Purple Brick, a Digital Marketing & Digital Product startup founded by an IIM Calcutta Alumnus, is looking to hire people across multiple levels. We are a fast growing startup, delivering exceptional results to clients from over 10 countries across the globe. We are now creating digital assets, communities and products across multiple sectors like Education, HR, Ecommerce and Social Causes.

Role:

• Create graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company collaterals, brochures, posters, flyers, display stands, etc. with software such as Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva
• Ability to create Visual Designs from written or verbal briefs.
• Refine and come up with new ideas for visual content.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with design software and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva and Figma etc.)
• Experience in creating visual design, illustrations, infographics, and other graphic elements
• Experience in video editing, including color grading, sound editing and sound mixing
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms
• Understanding of typography, layout, and digital design principles
• Demonstrable creative experience in graphic design and video editing
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred
• Portfolio of previous work is required to show proficiency and relevant experience
