Role & Responsibilities:

This is a full-time on-site role ( 3-4 years of experience ) at Amitabh Malhotra in New Delhi.

• Conceptualize and design digital prints, motifs, and patterns tailored for luxury ethnic wear.

• Collaborate closely with the design team to translate inspirations into print-ready artworks.

• Develop placement prints, repeats, and surface textures with a strong understanding of color theory and fabric behavior.

• Adapt designs across various fabrics like silks, velvets, organza, georgette, etc., ensuring print quality and finish.

• Work with sampling and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs on textiles.

• Stay updated on trends in digital printing, ethnic fashion, and luxury markets.

• Ensure all artwork files are properly prepared for vendors, printers, and in-house production.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or Graphic Design (NIFT, NID or equivalent preferred).

• Proven experience in digital print design for fashion/textiles.

• Strong knowledge of fabric behavior, textile printing techniques, and color management.

• Proficiency in design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW (if needed).

• Creative eye for Indian ethnic aesthetics, motifs, and contemporary luxury styles.

• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under timelines, and passion for design innovation.
