Graphic Designer

Main Responsibilities of a Graphic Designer:

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
• Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Participate in the creative process by proposing concepts and creative storyboards
• Work with the Creative Director, Lead Artist, and Developers
• Meet deadlines and have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Meet quality and accuracy standards as required
• Ability to work under pressure; resolves operational and urgent problems.
• Perform any other responsibility and/or task related to the position.
• Your main role as a Graphic Designer will be to design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazines covers, advertisements, and other communication materials.
• You will create these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs, such as Adobe’s Creative suite- including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more.
• You will at times also be required to meet with the clients to gain an understanding of what they have proposed.
• You will also create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
• You will produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback received. Review final productions for errors and ensure the final prints reflect client specifications.

Key Requirements of Candidate

• Needs to have a degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, or related field
• Needs to have a strong portfolio of sample projects
• Needs to have a keen eye for design and aesthetics
• Be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
• Proficiency with design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Great understanding and use of composition and colour theory, good knowledge of graphic/visual/stylistic trends in films and games
• Versatile and prepared to learn new skill sets and tackle different tasks
• Good time-management skills
• Critical-thinker and problem-solver
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to adapt
