Graphic Designer

Job Title:

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for creating visually attractive designs. The role includes creating a wide range of design materials, from digital graphics and print collateral to video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Layout: Create visually appealing designs for various media, including print (brochures, flyers, banners, posters - various exhibition elements, including back walls, counters, banners, and signage.) and digital (web graphics, social media posts, presentations).
• Image and Graphic Handling: Import, edit, and manipulate graphics, such as photographs and illustrations. Perform tasks like cropping, resizing, color correction, and photo manipulation to enhance visual appeal.
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in industry-standard design software such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Pre-press and Production: Prepare and finalise artwork files for large-format printing. Ensure all files are print-ready with correct colour profiles, resolution, and bleeds.
• Video Editing: Possess strong video editing skills to create engaging video content for marketing and promotional purposes.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Client Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into creative designs.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency across all design materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the events and exhibitions industry is highly preferred but not compulsory
• DTP operator experience is s highly preferred but not compulsory.
