Graphic Design Lead

Job Overview:

VGL is seeking a Graphic Design Lead to manage and mentor a team of designers, ensuring the creation of compelling digital assets that align with brand guidelines and business objectives. This role requires leadership, creativity, and strong collaboration skills to deliver high-quality designs across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Design Team:

  Manage, mentor, and guide a team of designers to achieve high-quality output and meet project deadlines.

• Creative Direction:

  Ensure all designsincluding web graphics, social media content, digital ads, and other digital assets—align with brand guidelines and business goals.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with marketing, product, and content teams to support campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives.

• Brand Consistency:

  Maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels and platforms.

• Design Review:

  Oversee design quality, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high standards are maintained.

• AI & Tool Integration:

  Leverage AI tools and design software to streamline workflows, enhance creativity, and improve team efficiency.

• Process Improvement:

  Suggest and implement design process enhancements to improve team productivity and output quality.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:

  Bachelors and master's Degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

• Experience:

  4+ years in graphic design, with leadership or team management experience preferred.

• Proficiency:

  Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Figma.

• E-Commerce Knowledge:

  Experience designing for eCommerce platforms and understanding digital design best practices.

• Leadership & Collaboration:

  Strong ability to lead a team, communicate effectively, and collaborate across multiple departments.

• Attention to Detail:

  High standards for design quality, consistency, and accuracy.

• Adaptability:

  Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and workflows.

• Creativity:

  Strong conceptual and visual design skills with a focus on innovative solutions.

• Certification:

  Any relevant certifications in Graphic Design or Digital Media (e.g., Adobe certifications, UI/UX design certifications) would be an added advantage.
